Thank you for choosing my salon. To ensure a smooth and respectful experience for all clients, please review my appointment policies below:

Appointments and cancellations

• All treatments are by appointment only. Please arrive on time for your scheduled booking. If you are late, your treatment time may be shortened or rescheduled. Arrivals over 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled, and a late fee may apply.
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may result in a 50% fee. If unwell, please notify me as soon as possible to reschedule. Cancellation fees may be waived in these circumstances.
• Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in a full charge.

Payment

Full payment is required on the day of your appointment. I accept cash and BACS payment. Prices are subject to change with 7 days’ notice.

Minimum age

A minimum age of 16 years for nail extensions and eyebrow/lash tinting and waxing, a minimum age of 12 for BIAB and Gel products. No age limit for Rimmel nail polish. I follow National Occupational Standards (NOS), that advise that all clients under 16 require signed parental consent and must be accompanied by an adult for their appointment.

Pregnancy

PREGNANCY – thegelbottle.com state that their products can be used during pregnancy, however it is at the discretion of the client. Gel Bottle have all ingredients on their website next to each of the products, these will appear within MSDS PDF sheets on these pages. We would advise looking at these before using and to check with your midwife or health professional before treatment. Brows/lashes - Apraise® do not recommend applying tints on pregnant clients during the first trimester of pregnancy (3 months)

Patch tests

Eyebrow/lash tint - Apraise product patch tests should be taken 48 hours before each tinting appointment. Clients must report any changes to patch test area as soon as possible.

Health concerns

Please notify me of any health concerns, allergies, or infections before your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if it may compromise the health of the client or technician.

Results and aftercare

While I strive for excellent results, individual outcomes may vary depending on nail condition and aftercare. Clients are expected to follow provided aftercare advice to maintain results.

Concerns after treatment

Refunds are not offered on completed services. If you experience an issue, please contact me within 3 days of your appointment. We may offer a complimentary repair at our discretion, provided aftercare has been followed.

Photographs

I may take photos of your nails for my portfolio or social media. If you do not wish for your nails to be photographed and used, please let me know.
