Hi, I’m Amy.
I’m a nail technician in Bowmore, Islay, with a love for thoughtful details and helping people feel good about themselves.
My salon is a place to take a little time for yourself. Whether you love a simple colour or something with a playful detail, my aim is to help you feel relaxed, comfortable and confident with a finish that feels like you.
You’ll find me at MacTaggart Leisure Centre, here in Bowmore.
MY JOURNEY
A little creativity, from the beginning.
Beauty has been a creative outlet for me for as long as I can remember, especially nails. I studied Beauty Skills at school before continuing my training at The Hair and Beauty Training Academy in Glasgow.
With hands-on experience on Islay and support from my mentors, family and community, I went on to open Beauty by Amy.
TRAINING & CARE
Care in every detail.
My training included manicures, Gel polish and BIAB, alongside skincare, brows and spray tanning.
I bring those skills to each nail appointment, from preparation and shaping to the finishing touches. Today, you can explore Gel, BIAB, extensions and manicures in my treatment menu.
